DPOP-001/US SNAPPY 5M WIRED REMOTE CONTROL
This wired remote control system is perfect to conveniently control the SnapLab digital photo printer from a remote location.
The SnapLab digital photo printer must utilize V2.00 firmware or greater which can be downloaded from www.sony.net/Products/DP-driver/index.html.
SNAPLAB FIRMWARE V2.01 OR HIGHER can only be upgraded from a Windows PC.
Product Description:
Snapay is a wired remote control system for use with the SnapLab digital
photo printer (UPCR10L). This control helps cashiers conveniently control
the SnapLab printer from a remote location up to 5m (16 feet) away while
still maintaining customer privacy.
When the customer selects the pictures they want printed via the
SnapLab digital photo printer, the print details are displayed on the
Snapay’s LCD screen. The customer is then instructed to pay the cashier.
When payment is complete the cashier releases the digital photo prints to
the SapLab printer by simply pressing the Snapay start button. Snapay
displays print quantity, print size and total order cost.

• Select Full Mode or Quick Mode under Screens Tab

1. Turn off the SnapLab printer
2. Connect serial cable to the RS232 port at the back of the SL
3. Power on the Snapay by connecting it to the main power. Do not
power on the SnapLab printer!
4. Insert the supplied CF card into the memory card expansion slot
behind the right-hand side panel on the SnapLab printer
5. Power on the SnapLab printer. When Snapay is powered up, the
screen will show SnapLab Remote Control.

This new feature allows event photographers to concentrate on photo shoots not print management, dramatically improving and streamlining the professional photographer's workflow at event venues and allows for one-man operation. There's no need to remove the memory card from the camera for insertion into SnapLab for printing. The photographer can shoot and print automatically.

Features

*By connecting with SX-WSG1, wireless adaptor, the UP-CR20L can print photos wirelessly direct from supported cameras equipped with an FTP file transfer capability. The UP-CR20L is ideal for events, parties and other situations where a portable photo printer is necessary.

*The transferred images can also be printed with a border such as a logo, event name or a custom designed frame. Moreover, Glossy or ProMatte finish prints can be selected.

*Semi-transparent data such as order number and file name can be printed on prints, which provides easy sorting.

*The images can be transferred via a wireless or wired connection, and they can be saved into an expansion CompactFlash card for reprinting later.

3 year Advance Exchange for SnapLab UPCR20L
Customers receive a total of 3 years Warranty and 3 years Advance Exchange coverage from date of purchase for a total of 3 years inclusive coverage (extending the standard 1 Year Parts/90 Days Labor Warranty).
Under Advance Exchange, customers are entitled to a replacement Passport Photo system (available next business day if call placed by 7:30pm Eastern Time, Monday through Friday) if problems cannot be resolved via telephone technical assistance.
Also included in the program are three (3) years toll-free telephone support and technical assistance from date of purchase as well as all repair parts and labor costs.
ADVANCE EXCHANGE (AE) PROCESS & PROCEDURE:
Step-by-Step Service Process:
1. Customer calls the Product Operational Services Center (POSC) at 1-800-883-6817 Option 2,2,1.
2. A Sony POSC representative will verify the model number and serial number given by your customer and determines whether exchange or repair is necessary. The POSC representative then forwards a request for exchange or repair to the Sony National Service Center.
3. The National Service Center sends a replacement unit (new or refurbished model) to the customer. A replacement unit will be shipped overnight if a call is received before 7:30pm ET, Monday through Friday.
4. The customer receives the replacement unit. Within 3 business days of receipt of the replacement unit, Sony must receive the malfunctioning unit at the following address:

5. If the customer requests return of their original malfunctioning unit, the Service Center will repair it and return it. The following additional charges will apply for this additional service:
UPCR-20L SnapLab printer: $175.00
An additional $25 charge will be added if a new shipping container is required.
6. Once the customer receives their repaired unit, they must return the loaner (replacement) unit to the Sony Service Center within 3 business days.
7. All SupportNETSM Advance Exchange Program for SnapLab terms and conditions are set forth in the service agreement attached.
