The Sony UPX-C100 Snap ID system is an entry level, low cost solution for the Passport and ID markets.Sony UPX-C100 SNAP-ID Digital Printing System is designed for passport and ID photo applications.
This versatile system includes a digital still camera and a digital photo printer which are connected via a USB cable.
The
printer accommodates two different media sizes for the simple creation
of Passports, I.D. cards, event photos, and other applications. The 5
mega pixel digital camera is simple to use and offers quick adjustments
such as color and frame changes. The camera also has Auto Review which
allows the captured image to be reviewed while still in Camera Mode
(without having to switch to Playback Mode). The UPX-C100 SNAP-ID system
uses Sonys dye sublimation print technology so the results will be
long-lasting and professional.
Printing with the UPX-C100
is a snap there is no docking station simply connect the USB cable to
the camera and press Print. The camera can be powered either via the
included AC power adaptor or 2 AA batteries. Auto Review allows images
to be reviewed in Camera Mode. Easily adjust head & chin lines, or
any of the preset frames to customize a print. Easy color adjustment to
change hue, contrast, and tone. Three different print sizes and
color/black & white options allow for versatile printing. USB
connectivity provides fast data transfer.

functions - including image size adjustments - can be performed easily
from the digital still camera. Just click the shutter button, review the
image on the camera's LCD screen, and then press the PRINT button. The

the Auto Review function, the captured image can be reviewed while in
Camera Mode. After the shutter button is pressed, the camera
automatically displays the captured image on the LCD screen. The image
remains on the screen until you take another photo. This innovative

In
addition to offering four preset frame sizes to choose from, the system
can easily adjust the position of the head and chin lines, as well as
the right and left lines, to create a customized frame. This enables you
to get the exact size you need every time. The system also supports the
new standard size of Passport. |

With
the color-guide function, the UPX-C100 allows you to make hue,
contrast, and tone adjustments easily to enhance the quality of your
images. |

Two
print packs - 3.5 x 4 inches and 4 x 6 inches - are available to meet
all your Passport/ID photo applications. These media allow you to create
various types of printout, including a combination of different sizes
on one sheet.
Using the 4 x 6 inches media, you can choose from 16
different image sizes, including one full bleed (edge to edge) mini
portrait. You can also print up to three different images or two
different sizes per sheet. Using the 3.5 x 4 inches media, you can
choose from 14 different image sizes, and also print two different
images or two different sizes on one sheet.

compact design of both the camera and the printer enable them to fit in
even the smallest retail space. The printer dimensions are 8 x 3 3/8 x
12 1/8 inches and the camera dimensions are only 3 7/8 x 2 5/8 x 1 5/16
